Upland NAVHDA has a diverse range of members from novice to experienced. You will gain experience with long term members, judges, trainers as well as those new to NAVHDA. We all have the dog’s best interest at heart and hunting in our blood. By working together we strive to bring out our dog’s best hunting skills and improve our skills as handlers. we thrive on membership involvement, without the next generation our sport will slowly fade away. We encourage you, regardless of your experience level to come out and get your hands dirty.
CREATING CULTURE
Jose Hernandez is a fun DJ by night and loved by his two Vizslas. Jose is very committed to developing and training his dogs and looks forward to learning it all. Jose will be our Test Secretary.
Megan Rewal loved and owned by Brittaney's and enjoys participating in all events. Megan Is the Chapters Test Director and Judges accommodations.
Rebecca Gardea, President & Co founder of UPLAND NAVHDA. Rebecca is a competitive dog Trainer and Handler. Rebecca has successfully trained many Utility Prize dogs.
Gabriel Awbrey, Vice President & Co founder of UPLAND NAVHDA. Gabriel is quite the educator, High School & Professional Field Trainer as well as a NAVHDA JUDGE.
Nicolas Garfias is the VP of Design for Oakley and one of our founding members and the Chapter Treasurer.

As the president of the UPLAND chapter ( and a WOMEN) it is my absolute passion to help other
like minded women be successful. For far to long the women have not received the recognition and support they deserve. We will FOREVER be known for having women on our board, but also recognizing their achievements. No longer of the time of the "good Oldboy's", EVERYONE is welcome and Women are celebrated.
